We are six sisters and two sisters-in-law and among us we have 47 children. For years we had discussed going into business together but the timing wasn’t right until Christmas of 2006. We are very excited about our jewelry and the melding of our Christian faith, family and fashion. Yes, we believe there is a Christian fashion and for those who want to display their Christianity with style, our jewelry is for you!

We, at On This Day Designs strive to follow God’s will in our lives and we place our business in His hands. If the jewelry and Christian products we make inspire thoughts of our Lord we will feel successful. As we are all one in His body, we will treat our customers as brothers and sisters in Christ.

We chose the name On This Day Designs from the popular Catholic song, On This Day, O Beautiful Mother with this refrain:

     On this day O Beautiful Mother
     On this day we give thee our love
     Near thee Madonna fondly we hover
     Trusting thy gentle care to prove.

Our mother, Joan Ferris Minardi, sang this beautiful song at our weddings. Although she passed away in 1997, we still feel she is an important part of our lives and, with our Heavenly Mother Mary, is encouraging and cheering us from above.
