St. Francis & St. Clare on Ball Chain

This detailed St. Francis medal  depicts St. Francis of Assisi feeding the birds on one side and St. Clare on the reverse. When St. Clare (Santa Chiara) was eighteen years old, she heard St. Francis speak and she was so inspired by his words she begged him to help her live “after the manner of the holy Gospel.” Clare, and later her sister Agnes, became nuns

The 1 1/4  inch bronze recast of a vintage medal, is strung on ball chain. It is 27 inches long and simply slips over your head without a clasp.
