Camping Fun

After a super-duper fun weekend with our extended family at Rocky Fork State Park, we Findleys are preparing for another long weekend at Lake Hope State Park.  OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAGrowing up in a large family camping was often the only option for family vacations.  My mom called our many camping trips in Ohio our "Discover Ohio Vacations".  Now as a mom of many myself we too have "Discover Ohio Vacations" and have loved it!  Things I love about camping... the kids are outside and active. Electronics are limited or nonexistent. The kids have become familiar and comfortable with nature. We all play a lot of games both indoor and outdoor. You learn to improvise, like the time we spent reading aloud Mr. Popper's Penguins in our camper during an all day rain!   And Best of all we learn to love and enjoy each others company!
